Baking Instructions KEEP FROZEN. Baking Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F . 375F convection. Place frozen scones on papered baking sheet evenly spaced. DO NOT THAW. Bake for 23-25 minutes or until golden brown. Test doneness by inserting toothpick until it is clean.

Suggestions for Enhancements for your scones • -For a shiny old world glazed appearance, brush with an egg wash or heavy cream before baking.

• -For a textured appearance, brush frozen scone with egg wash and Sprinkle Sugar in the Raw on each scone before baking.

• Add a cinnamon flavor by brushing frozen scone with egg wash and sprinkling a dusting of ground cinnamon and granulated sugar before baking.

• After baked and completely cooled, dust with powdered sugar for a snow kissed look.

Icing is Enticing… Although traditionally Prairie Kitchen Scones are best served straight from the oven au natural, some customers prefer a glaze or icing. Scone Icing ½ cup powdered sugar 2- Tablespoons water Mix water and powdered sugar together until smooth and drizzle on each scone after it has completely cooled.

For further flavor enhancements add the following: 1/8 tsp lemon, vanilla or orange extract Vanilla bean seeds 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger 1 tablespoon crystallized ginger, minced
